Samyoung M-Tek, Leader of the industrial materials manufacturing!
The following flowchart describes manufacture processes in the Material Business Department.
Design casting method by simulating solidification.
Produce wooden models and flasks as per the blueprints.
Produce upper and lower molds using molding sand mixture (of chromite sand and backng sand), and caking additives.
Produce core by filling molding sand and caking additivies in core box.
Install & assemble upper and lower molds with core.
Insert scrap iron into high frequency induction furnace for melting, adding alloy iron to keep the chemical composition of melted alloy.
Take a sample from the furance before pouring for spectrum analysis.
Pour the melted alloy into pre-heated ladle.
Pour the molten iron into molds.
When the casted products are cooled down and solidified, the molds are dismantled and casted products are dusted off.
Remove any risering or sprue on the casted product with oxygen torch.
Heat treatment to improve mechanical characteristics of the casted products.
Shot blast on the surface of the casted product.
Polish off any welded and uneven parts on the surface of the casted product.
Work on the casted product according to the intended sizes.
Measure the sizes of the casted products with appropriate measurement tools and zigs, and compare the measurements with specifications from the blueprints.
Non-destructive testings, including PT, MT, UT, and RT, for inspection of any defects on the inside or outside of the casted products.
Dispatch the casted products manufactured by customers' requests.
